Marketing Manager

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for pharmaceutical products across the Northern Region of Ghana. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive product awareness, market penetration and revenue growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement regional marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and monitor competitor activity.
• Develop annual marketing plans, budgets and promotional calendars.
• Organise product launches, medical presentations and promotional campaigns for healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support distributor engagement and retail pharmacy expansion.
• Maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacists and regulatory bodies.
• Track market intelligence, analyse sales data and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare product marketing.
• Proven track record of regional market development and brand management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
