Measurement Operator – Land Surveyor

About the role

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a skilled Measurement Operator to join its Engineering team in Takoradi. The role involves conducting precise field measurements for infrastructure projects, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting construction layout activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate total stations, auto/digital levels, GPS‑RTK systems and other surveying equipment.
• Perform independent field surveys including topographic mapping, boundary marking and construction layout.
• Set out building axes, road alignments, drainage systems and structural elements based on design plans.
• Verify as‑built conditions, monitor earthwork volumes and check compliance with design tolerances.
• Record, process and analyse field data using AutoCAD and GIS tools, and prepare survey reports, sketches and digital maps.
• Maintain accuracy standards (±3 mm–5 mm) and adhere to site safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in infrastructure surveying (roads, pipelines, buildings or related civil works).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on remote or rural sites with minimal supervision.
• Technical proficiency with total stations and auto/digital levels.
