About the role

Advanta Africa Limited is seeking a Media Sales Officer to drive revenue by selling digital advertising inventory across its partner platforms. Based in Dzorwulu, this full-time, on-site position focuses on acquiring new brand and agency clients and managing the end-to-end sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify and engage potential advertisers and media agencies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and tailored proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to set up campaigns, monitor performance and provide regular client updates.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales-tracking tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity and platform enhancements.

Required profile

  • Proven sales experience in media, advertising or digital marketing with a record of meeting targets.
  • Strong media relations and public-relations abilities.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for proposals and client materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dzorwulu and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

Required skills

  • Experience with CRM or sales-tracking platforms.
  • Understanding of digital advertising metrics such as impressions, CPM, targeting and audience segmentation.
