Medical Doctor – Accra

About the role

Lapaz Community Hospital is seeking experienced medical doctors to join its clinical team in Accra. The successful candidates will provide high‑quality patient care, contribute to the hospital’s medical services, and uphold professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
• Conduct patient examinations, order and interpret investigations, and prescribe appropriate therapies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and emergency response as required.

Required profile

• Holds an MB ChB or equivalent medical degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years post‑qualification experience as a medical doctor.
• Registered and in good standing with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical medical practice.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in prescribing and medication management.
• Ability to interpret laboratory and imaging results.
• Effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
