Mental Health Specialist (Independent Partner)

About the role

Knoxxi Health is building a network of qualified independent mental health specialists to provide confidential one‑to‑one sessions for employees covered by the Knoxxi Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and for individual users who book directly through Knoxxi Care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver confidential virtual or in‑person sessions, including short‑term counselling, psychological support, or psychiatric assessment within the scope of your licence.
• Assess risk in every session, refer clients to more intensive care when needed, and complete a brief continuity note after each session.
• Respond to booking requests within 24 hours and keep your availability up to date.

Required profile

• Current licence or professional certification from the relevant Ghanaian regulator (e.g., Medical and Dental Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council).
• Valid professional indemnity insurance or willingness to join Knoxxi’s group policy.
• Ghana Card, identity verification and satisfactory criminal background check.
• Experience supporting adults with anxiety, depression, stress, grief or trauma.

Required skills

• Comfort with video consultations and using a mobile or web platform.
• Calm, warm, non‑judgemental communication style.
