About the role

Suma Rural Bank PLC is seeking qualified individuals to join its team as Microfinance Officers. The position is located in Suma‑Ahenkro and will support the bank’s microfinance activities in rural communities. Successful candidates will work within the bank’s rural and community banking division, contributing to the development and management of micro‑finance services. The Microfinance Officer will play a key role in expanding financial inclusion by providing tailored micro‑loans and financial advice to individuals and small enterprises in the region. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with local clients, assess creditworthiness, and support the bank’s mission of fostering economic development in underserved areas.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

Master’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Marketing or a related discipline (advantage)
Level 3 professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, ACIB, ICSA, CIM (UK))
Experience in rural and community banking (highly considered)
