About the role

Join Newmont’s Accra Hub for a hands‑on internship that bridges academic learning with real‑world mining operations. You will work onsite in Ghana’s capital, supporting projects that responsibly unlock mineral wealth while contributing to community development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project teams on assignments related to mining, finance, HR, supply chain, and engineering.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare brief reports for senior staff.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes.
• Support the preparation of documentation for Ahafo South and Ahafo North mines.

Required profile

• Second‑ or third‑year university student.
• Enrolled in a relevant programme such as Business, Finance, HR, Hospitality, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong academic performance and a genuine interest in the mining sector.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
