About the role
The Ghana AIDS Commission is recruiting four Monitoring & Evaluation Officers to support the tracking and reporting of the national HIV and AIDS response across multiple regions. The role focuses on applying M&E tools, coordinating capacity‑building activities, and generating evidence‑based insights for programme improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Apply approved monitoring and evaluation tools, reporting formats and indicators to track HIV intervention programmes.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating HIV/AIDS activities carried out by various stakeholders.
- Coordinate capacity‑building and training initiatives in partnership with Regional and District HIV Committees.
- Support quarterly coordination meetings at regional and district levels.
- Assist regional and district surveillance, operational research and surveys to generate strategic information.
- Collect, analyse and interpret data on HIV and AIDS programmes.
- Help regions and districts use locally generated data for evidence‑based planning and programming.
- Prepare quarterly technical reports, including monitoring and evaluation activities.
Required profile
- First degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Health or Health Sciences.
- Completed one‑year post‑degree national service.
- Computer literate with strong presentation and analytical abilities.
