Network Regional Manager – West & Central Africa

About the role

Thunes is seeking a Network Regional Manager to lead the development of its payment network across West and Central Africa. Based in Ghana or Nigeria, you will report to the VP of Network Development in Morocco and be responsible for building strategic partnerships with mobile wallets, banks, and cash networks.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and manage high‑value network partners across the region.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and onboarding.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, compliance, legal and treasury teams to design partnership solutions.
• Monitor partner performance against KPIs and ensure best‑in‑class service delivery.
• Represent Thunes at industry events and follow up on generated leads.
• Conduct regulatory outreach as needed and keep internal stakeholders informed of changes.
• Maintain accurate records and CRM data, providing regular status reports to management.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional with high energy and strong business acumen.
• Proven experience in partnership development or sales within the payments or financial services sector.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline and account management.
