Night Ambulance Driver

About the role

The private facility near Achimota is looking for a reliable Night Ambulance Driver to provide safe patient transport during overnight hours. This role supports the hospital’s emergency response and ensures timely delivery of patients to and from the centre.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the ambulance safely during night shifts, adhering to traffic regulations and hospital protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and transport patients to designated medical facilities.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, patient details, and vehicle condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with the appropriate class for ambulance operation.
• Degree, HND or equivalent education.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move patients safely.
• Calm, courteous, and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Residence within Taifa, Tantra Hill, Achimota or Pokuase.

Required skills

• Valid driver's license (ambulance class)
• Basic knowledge of first aid
• CPR certification (preferred)
