Renal Technician

About the role

Halcome Management Services is seeking a dedicated Renal Technician for the new Bank Hospital in Accra. The role involves assembling, maintaining and operating dialysis machines while providing compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and ensure proper performance of dialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, adjusting fluid removal rates as needed.
• Administer local anaesthesia and guide patients through the dialysis process.
• Maintain strict safety, cleanliness and sterilisation standards for all equipment.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and doctors, responding to emergencies and patient needs.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and develop training material for staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in dialysis/nephrology technology.
• Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
• Relevant clinical experience and dedication to patient care.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
