Operations Project Manager – Telecom & Energy

About the role

The Operations Project Manager will lead the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team responsible for telecom and energy infrastructure. The role ensures network availability, drives performance improvements, and supports budget and environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Control and manage technical teams, ensuring adherence to fault‑management processes and internal guidelines.
• Oversee real‑time operations, shift planning, workload distribution and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) and drive continuous performance improvement.
• Review and optimise departmental processes to meet SLA and service‑quality targets.
• Track and analyse fuel and electricity consumption, collaborating with the Fuel & Fleet Director to reduce losses.
• Coordinate with customers, internal departments and third‑party vendors for smooth operations.
• Support budget construction, presales activities, RFQ analysis and contract review.
• Ensure compliance with environmental practices such as waste management and oil recycling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Power or related field).
• Minimum 10 years telecom experience, including 5 years as O&M Manager.
• Strong leadership, team‑development and performance‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work under high‑pressure, operational environments while ensuring health, safety and ISO compliance.
