Part-Time IT Support Assistant

About the role

Ghato Food Ltd. is looking for a part-time IT Support Assistant in Accra. The role provides day-to-day technical support to staff and covers installation, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment, with working hours and days agreed with management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff and help with day-to-day IT issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, scanners and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity problems.
• Assist with network setup, Wi-Fi connectivity and internet troubleshooting.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
• Give basic training and guidance to staff on IT systems and applications.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma, HND or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows computers, printers and internet connectivity.
• Flexibility to address urgent IT issues; working hours and days are agreed with management.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
