Partner Engagement Lead

About the role

The Partner Engagement Lead will support the design, coordination, and execution of a comprehensive Partner Stewardship and Accompaniment Framework across the Foundation’s portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Partner Stewardship, this role translates strategy into day‑to‑day delivery, ensuring consistent and high‑quality partner experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll out Partner Accompaniment processes, including onboarding, capacity assessments, and action plans.
• Coordinate accompaniment activities across partner archetypes, regions, and themes, aligning with the Foundation’s principles.
• Maintain and update the Marketplace Directory of vetted capacity‑building providers.
• Track and monitor all capacity‑enhancement activities to ensure alignment with the engagement framework.
• Standardize partner onboarding, engagement, and feedback mechanisms to deliver a consistent experience.
• Lead the bi‑annual partner survey, analyse results, and follow up on recommended actions.
• Monitor and address partner experience incidents, escalating as needed and documenting lessons learned.
• Develop and maintain guidelines, tools, and digital resources such as the Partner Resource Hub and Partner Connect on the Daraja Platform.
• Research and implement lean, agile processes to improve clarity, efficiency, and creativity in partner stewardship.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities related to partner accompaniment outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder programs or partnerships.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data collection, survey administration, and reporting.
• Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.
