Patrol Supervisor

About the role

The Patrol Supervisor leads a team of G4S security officers across assigned sectors, ensuring contract compliance and operational excellence. Working primarily during nights, weekends and holidays, the role involves field inspections, incident response and staff coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct unannounced site visits and audits to verify guard alertness, uniform standards and adherence to post orders.
• Evaluate performance, document infractions and apply coaching or disciplinary actions in line with G4S policies.
• Manage shift handovers, resolve staffing shortages and approve guard timesheets and activity reports.
• Provide on‑site command during alarms, breaches, medical emergencies or structural incidents and compile legally sound incident reports.
• Deliver initial on‑site onboarding and practical training for new security personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in private security, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Valid clean driver’s licence (Class A) with motorcycle endorsement where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong command presence, conflict‑resolution abilities and the capacity to enforce discipline.
