Pharmacy Supervisor

About the role

Katemed Pharmacy is seeking a competent and proactive pharmacy supervisor to oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage staff, and ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy staff.
• Provide professional guidance and counseling to patients regarding medications, dosages, and potential side effects.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all Ghana Pharmacy Council regulations and other relevant laws.
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, staff performance, and other operational metrics for management review.
• Assist in implementing new pharmacy policies, procedures, and programs.

Required profile

• HND or Diploma in Pharmacy Technician.
• Proven experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
