Procurement Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Supervisor to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for our global food‑and‑beverage ingredients business. The role will drive cost‑effective purchasing, ensure high‑quality supply and support our mission of delivering sustainable ingredients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives to optimise supplier relationships and improve supply‑chain efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers to diversify the supplier base and foster competition.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, quality and delivery conditions with suppliers.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end procurement process from requisition to purchase order, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance, drive improvement programmes and maintain detailed price lists, specifications and catalogs.
• Coordinate expediting activities, resolve outstanding orders and implement inventory control measures to minimise stockouts.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and suppliers, providing audit‑ready documentation.
• Generate and analyse performance indicators to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional procurement or supply‑chain certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in supplier management, contract administration and inventory control.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles and supplier management.
