Product Manager – Heavy Equipment

About the role

LiuGong is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and market positioning of its mining and heavy‑equipment portfolio. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate technical advantages into compelling sales tools and go‑to‑market strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical and competitive advantages of LiuGong products through site visits and competitor benchmarking.
• Create sales speeches, videos, presentations, and TCO data that highlight product strengths.
• Develop product improvement plans and coordinate with headquarters on strategic initiatives.
• Provide integrated product solutions for key industrial customers based on deep understanding of their operating conditions.
• Drive product‑ and business‑planning processes, including market research, positioning, roadmap development, and product launch.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing, and sales to ensure timely delivery and successful release of new products.
• Assess competitor offerings, identify differentiation opportunities, and propose go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Design, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent).
• 5–10 years of experience in product management within mining or heavy‑equipment industries.
• Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain high‑integrity business relationships.
