Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will be based offshore on the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah in Ghana for a 24‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will lead the first‑line production team to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective operation of the facility’s production, process and utility systems.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Production Superintendent to achieve cost‑effective operations while minimizing environmental impact.
• Supervise, mentor and coach the production team in daily operations and planned maintenance activities.
• Oversee safe and efficient operation of FPSO process and utility systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
• Coordinate Production Control Room (CCR) activities, including emergency staffing and panel operations.
• Conduct plant shutdowns, equipment failure analysis and fault troubleshooting, and communicate findings to the maintenance team.
• Implement training and competency assessments for control‑room and field operations.
• Manage risk‑identification and mitigation in line with the FPSO safety case.
• Support the rollout and review of employee objectives and KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production operations on an offshore FPSO or similar asset.
• Strong awareness of safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
• Ability to mentor and develop a multidisciplinary production team.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with senior management.
