Production Supervisor (Offshore, Ghana)

About the role

The Production Supervisor will be based offshore in Ghana on a 24‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will lead first‑line production operations, ensure safe and efficient FPSO performance, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Production Superintendent to achieve cost‑effective operation and maintenance of the facility’s production systems.
• Supervise, mentor and coach the production team in daily operations and planned maintenance activities.
• Oversee safe and efficient operation of FPSO process and utility systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
• Coordinate Control Room (CCR) activities, plant shutdowns, fault analysis and troubleshooting, and communicate findings to the maintenance team.
• Implement training and competency development for control‑room and field operations.
• Manage staffing for CCR panel operations during emergencies or shortages.
• Ensure risk management processes are in place and aligned with the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah Safety Case.
• Track and review employee objectives/KPIs and conduct performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production operations on offshore FPSO assets.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental and statutory requirements in the oil & gas sector.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary production team.
• Excellent analytical skills for fault analysis and preventive maintenance planning.
• Effective communication and coordination with senior management and maintenance functions.
