About the role
Central University is recruiting Professors to join its faculty in the medical and health sciences. The appointment involves both teaching and research activities across a range of specialised subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and supervise students in Anatomy and Physiology.
- Conduct research and publish in Medical Biochemistry, Pharmacology and related fields.
- Lead laboratory work in Medical Microbiology, Chemical Pathology and Haematology.
- Participate in curriculum development for Medical Laboratory and Pathology/Laboratory Medicine programmes.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to academic committees.
Required profile
- Minimum of a PhD in the relevant discipline, or for clinicians a recognised professional membership certificate.
- At least 24 peer‑reviewed journal publications.
