About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks highly qualified scholars to join its Faculty of Engineering as Professors. Candidates may apply to any of the listed engineering departments, contributing to the university’s mission of excellence in ICT education and research.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Supervise student research projects and theses.
• Conduct original research and publish in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and outreach activities.
• Participate in faculty development and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or related discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen peer‑reviewed publications.
• Evidence of academic leadership and a strong record of research.
• Three referees who can attest to the candidate’s qualifications.
