Programme Director - Organizational Development & Strategic Partnerships

About the role

The Rheumatology Initiative (tRi), a Ghanaian non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, is seeking a Programme Director to lead its next phase of organisational growth. The position is based in Accra and is offered as a 12-month consultancy, renewable subject to performance and funding.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of a 3-5 year strategic plan and strengthen governance and operational systems
• Build partnerships with healthcare institutions, government agencies, development partners and the corporate sector
• Drive resource mobilisation, grant development and donor engagement
• Oversee programme delivery, budgets, monitoring and reporting
• Strengthen tRi's visibility and influence within Ghana's health sector and beyond

Required profile

• Proactive, entrepreneurial leader with 7-10 years of experience in organisational development, programme management, strategic partnerships or the non-profit sector
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, grant management and stakeholder engagement
