Project Coordinator – Kotoso, Kwahu East

About the role

The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), in partnership with the Japanese Organisation for International Co‑operation in Family Planning (JOICFP) and the Ghana Health Service, is seeking a results‑oriented Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of a two‑year, Japan‑funded sexual and reproductive health project in Kotoso, Kwahu East.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and monitor all project activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish and maintain relationships with district stakeholders and community partners.
• Identify local SRH needs and design innovative interventions.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly and annual financial and programme reports.
• Manage inventory of project assets and commodities.
• Oversee training of community volunteers such as peer educators and CBS agents.
• Supervise project staff, conduct performance appraisals and support work‑plan development.
• Assist in preparing zonal Annual Performance Budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Middle Zonal Manager.

Required profile

• First degree in Sciences, Social Sciences or Psychology (a second degree is an advantage).
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of reproductive and sexual health issues.
• Excellent computer literacy and ability to work under pressure.
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy, judgment and proactive, goal‑oriented attitude.
• Effective communication skills, youth‑friendly approach and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
