Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Purchasing Manager will support the Executive Chef in all food and beverage procurement activities, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and compliance with sanitation standards. This full‑time, onsite position is based at our Airport City location in Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an approved vendor list covering all product categories.
• Order food and beverage items according to business needs and budgetary targets.
• Enforce first‑in/first‑out inventory rotation and monitor stock levels to minimise waste.
• Inspect deliveries, verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure product quality.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in line with brand guidelines.
• Prepare accurate reports, presentations and period‑end inventory calculations.
• Communicate delivery schedules with kitchen, restaurant management and suppliers.
• Assist in controlling food and beverage costs and support menu costing activities.

Required profile

• Four‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or at least two years of purchasing experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and restaurant teams.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for using procurement and inventory software.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation compliance.
• Experience with inventory management and stock rotation.
