Recruiter (HR Generalist)

About the role

Astria Tech is seeking a proactive Recruiter to lead full‑cycle hiring and provide comprehensive HR support for its Ghana operations. You will act as the primary HR contact, ensuring smooth onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with local labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interviews, reference checks and offer letters.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline, providing market insights and succession planning.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, candidate personas and job descriptions.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and off‑boarding processes, including documentation and system access.
• Support employee relations, conduct check‑ins, handle inquiries, and escalate serious matters.
• Administer leave requests, attendance monitoring and disciplinary procedures.
• Maintain accurate HR records, ATS data and compliance with local regulations.
• Produce regular HR reports on headcount, hires, exits and employee grievances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR generalist or recruiter experience in Ghana.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational and confidentiality skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Proficiency with HRIS and leave‑management platforms.
• Familiarity with modern sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
