Regional Manager

About the role

ActionAid Ghana is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead programme and project management across the region. The role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and resource management to ensure human‑rights‑based programming aligns with national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional strategy in line with ActionAid Ghana’s Country Strategy Paper and ALPS framework.
• Coordinate annual planning and budgeting processes for the region.
• Monitor programme and non‑programme indicators, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate regular review meetings with communities and partners to inform delivery.
• Support the translation of management accounts and cash‑flow information for staff and partners.
• Liaise with finance to develop cost‑effective systems and ensure judicious use of funds.
• Prepare timely reports and maintain accountability notice boards for donors and communities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both programme and project management within the development sector.
• Strong ability to work internally and externally with diverse stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of leading strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to convey vision, values, and objectives.
