About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology expert to design and solve challenging biology problems that will be used to evaluate large language models. This short‑term contract lasts 11 weeks and offers $346 per approved task. The role requires 8 hours of work per day with a 4‑hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

Design and solve challenging biology problems for LLM evaluation benchmarks.
Develop clear, step‑by‑step solutions with detailed reasoning.
Collaborate with LLM researchers on evaluation benchmarks and reasoning tasks.
Help define new evaluation benchmarks spanning undergraduate to PhD‑level biology.
Analyze and solve complex biological problems using logical, structured approaches.
Explain biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed.

Required profile

Master’s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Strong research and analytical skills with creative, lateral thinking.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a remote environment.
