Sales and Marketing Officer

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Officer will promote Simba Media's internet services and subscription packages to potential customers across Accra and the Tema region. You will work directly in the field, engaging households, offices, shops and commercial areas to generate leads and convert them into paying subscribers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote internet services and subscription packages to prospective customers.
• Conduct field visits to homes, offices, shops and commercial areas to generate leads.
• Explain package details, pricing, benefits and subscription requirements.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable internet plans.
• Follow up enquiries and convert prospects into subscribers.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, sales and follow‑up activities.
• Use WhatsApp, email and Excel to communicate with customers and update records.
• Submit daily reports on visits, leads, sales and challenges.
• Gather customer feedback and share market information with the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum Senior High School education; diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, field marketing, telecommunications or ISP services preferred.
• Basic computer skills, good spoken and written English; knowledge of local Ghanaian languages is a plus.
