Sales Engineer - AI Products

About the role

Zof is hiring a Sales Engineer in Accra, Ghana, to win deals with working software. The role builds custom demos and proof-of-concepts that prove value before a contract is signed, carries technical credibility through the sales cycle, and uses AI agents to automate research, enrichment and follow-up. It suits former Solutions Engineers, Solutions Consultants or technical pre-sales professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Build custom demos and proof-of-concepts that win deals before contract.
• Own the technical side of the sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Automate the go-to-market motion with agents: research, enrichment and follow-up.
• Explain technical AI concepts clearly to buyers and stakeholders.
• Prepare demos, technical collateral and customer-facing materials.
• Capture objections, requirements and market feedback for the product.
• Hand off won deals cleanly to solutions and deployment teams.

Required profile

• Ability to build working software and demos quickly.
• Strong communication skills and comfort in front of buyers.
• Fluency with AI tools and modern go-to-market tooling.
• Technical curiosity, strong organization, high ownership and willingness to learn quickly.
• Nice to have: prior sales engineering, solutions consulting or technical pre-sales experience; experience automating GTM workflows with agents or CRM tooling; experience with TypeScript, Python or similar; experience in SaaS, AI, developer tools or enterprise software.
