Sales Manager

About the role

Swift Consulting is recruiting a Sales Manager for a client in the agro‑allied sector, based in Accra, Ghana. The role focuses on driving sales growth, managing a sales team, and expanding market presence in the poultry and agricultural markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the sales team to ensure high performance.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional buyers.
• Oversee daily sales activities and coordinate with the production team to meet customer demand.
• Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of client issues.
• Create promotional plans to increase brand visibility and product uptake.
• Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and market analysis for management.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to guide pricing and marketing decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture, FMCG or poultry production.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good understanding of the poultry market and distribution channels.
