Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our reputable financial institution in Accra. You will promote a range of insurance products to both individual and corporate clients, building lasting relationships and contributing to the growth of our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new individual and corporate clients through networking, referrals, cold calling and field marketing.
• Promote and sell life, health, motor, travel, property and business insurance solutions.
• Conduct client needs assessments and recommend suitable insurance coverage.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions and premium structures clearly.
• Prepare quotations, complete policy applications and facilitate policy issuance.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships to encourage renewals and referrals.
• Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements and general enquiries.
• Coordinate with the claims team to support clients throughout the claims process.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and policy documentation.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, community outreach and promotional events.

Required profile

• Diploma, HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales or insurance distribution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to assess client needs.
