Sales Representative

About the role

MTE, a technology and engineering organisation covering IT training, road and construction projects, civil works and engineering services, is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Representative in Sekondi-Takoradi. The representative identifies and pursues new business across the company's service areas, working closely with technical and project teams so that client needs match the right solutions and the handover to delivery is smooth.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and network, conduct sales calls and client meetings, and present service offerings
• Prepare proposals and quotations
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and follow up on leads
• Track sales activities and provide regular reports to management
• Work with technical and project teams to align client needs with appropriate solutions

Required profile

• Prior experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in technology, engineering or related fields
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a certificate or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or IT is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site, manage time efficiently and handle several client engagements at once
• Comfortable doing field work in Sekondi-Takoradi and surrounding areas, including visiting client sites

Required skills

• Strong sales, customer relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet targets
• Clear communication in person, by phone and in writing, with good presentation and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of IT training, civil works, construction and digital solutions
• Proficiency with office productivity tools such as email, spreadsheets and presentations, and keeping organised sales records
