Security Guard – Property Protection

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Security Guard to join BOT Properties in Legon, Accra. The guard will protect residential and commercial properties, ensure the safety of tenants and visitors, and maintain a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying the identity of visitors, contractors and service providers.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms and other surveillance equipment.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, disturbances or suspicious activities.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports.

Required profile

• Senior High School Certificate, Diploma or HND.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in a security role.
• Minimum height of 5 ft 6 in (approximately 1.68 m).
• Valid National ID card and no criminal record.
• Physically fit, able to stand, walk and patrol for long periods.
• Honest, trustworthy and able to remain calm under pressure.
