Security Supervisor – Process Plant

About the role

The Security Supervisor – Process Plant will support the Security Superintendent in safeguarding the assets, personnel and property of AngloGold Ashanti’s process plant in Kumasi. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing security operations, managing access control and ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Security Superintendent in leading the security team and reporting performance‑related information.
• Implement security objectives, coordinate permits and administrative functions within the process plant area.
• Maintain effective access‑control measures, conduct searches at entry points and supervise patrols.
• Record, evaluate and respond to all security incidents, crime reports and alarms using the designated administrative systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety and security awareness programmes and maintain accurate incident logs.
• Support the prevention, detection and preliminary investigation of crime, and report injuries or safety incidents promptly.
• Coach team members on safe work practices to minimise hazards and achieve zero lost‑time injuries.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make urgent decisions.
• Commitment to maintaining law and order and a safe working environment.
