Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead the design and delivery of real‑estate projects for a fast‑growing development company in Ghana. Working closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that concepts are transformed into high‑quality, cost‑effective built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO, Head of Real Estate Development, Head of Construction and project teams to devise practical design solutions.
• Lead architectural design from concept through construction documentation and execution.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications and design documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to secure approvals and meet project objectives.
• Recommend building materials, finishes and value‑engineering options that balance quality and cost.
• Integrate architectural, structural and MEP designs and provide technical guidance on construction methods and codes.
• Support procurement by identifying suitable materials and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Mentor junior architects and drive continuous improvement within the architecture team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and registration with the relevant professional body.
• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in real‑estate development or construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects from concept to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian building regulations, construction methods and multidisciplinary coordination.
