Senior Frontend Engineer (Flutter, Vue + Tailwind, UI/UX)

About the role

Kudi Systems Ltd, a fintech startup in Ghana, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the user experience of its digital payment platform, SPPay. The role is remote‑first with occasional on‑site collaboration in Accra and is offered on a six‑month renewable contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of responsive web interfaces using Vue 3 and Tailwind CSS.
• Build, maintain, and enhance cross‑platform mobile applications with Flutter.
• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into reusable, scalable frontend components.
• Own frontend architecture decisions, component structure, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, authentication flows, and payment services.
• Work with product managers and designers to refine user journeys and improve usability.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross‑device compatibility.
• Lead testing, debugging, code reviews, and release‑readiness checks.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Completed National Service.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in frontend, web, and mobile development.
• Strong proficiency in Vue 3, Tailwind CSS, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and Flutter.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, routing, API integration, and authentication flows.
• Good grasp of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
