Senior Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Four Points by Sheraton Accra Airport Hotel is looking for a full-time, on-site Senior Housekeeping Attendant in Accra. The role maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in guest rooms and public areas, overseeing daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors, including room inspections, inventory checks and cleaning schedules. It also supports team members through guidance, training on procedures and safety, and prompt resolution of guest housekeeping requests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors, including room inspections, inventory checks and coordination of cleaning schedules
• Support team members by guiding them, assisting with training on procedures and safety, and resolving guest housekeeping requests promptly and professionally
• Handle laundry and linen processes
• Report maintenance issues
• Ensure all housekeeping tasks comply with brand and health regulations

Required profile

• 1st degree in hospitality management
• 5+ years of experience in a 5-star hotel
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience, ideally in a supervisory or senior attendant capacity
• Ability to train or mentor housekeeping staff and to demonstrate procedures
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene practices in hospitality
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, lifting and bending

• Strong housekeeping and laundry skills, including cleaning standards, linen care and use of housekeeping equipment
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Organization skills for managing room assignments, prioritizing tasks and tracking inventories
