Travel Planner

About the role

A growing cultural travel and experiences company is seeking an experienced Travel Planner to design and coordinate private trips, group journeys and hosted travel experiences. The company specialises in immersive journeys combining premium accommodation, authentic cultural experiences, adventure, relaxation and meaningful connections with local communities, guiding travellers from enquiry through to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Design unique, curated itineraries for private, group and hosted trips, balancing adventure, culture and relaxation.
• Respond promptly to enquiries and guide travellers through itinerary development, quotation and confirmed booking.
• Source, compare and book 4-star and 5-star accommodation, transfers, experiences and activities through vetted suppliers and local partners.
• Prepare accurate trip costings and quotations while maintaining agreed profit margins.
• Develop pre-trip communications, travel documents, packing information and safety guidance.
• Coordinate with operations teams, trip hosts and local partners so the trip runs smoothly.
• Maintain accurate traveller, booking and itinerary data in CRM and planning systems.
• Research destinations and trends, collect traveller feedback and use it to improve itineraries.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Travel Planner, Travel Consultant, Tour Operator or in a closely related travel or hospitality role; luxury, experiential or bespoke travel experience is an advantage.
• First-hand travel experience across several countries and regions, with strong destination knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple travellers, itineraries and deadlines at once, and to work comfortably across time zones.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and a genuine passion for travel and global cultures.

Required skills

• Experience developing detailed itineraries and accurate travel costings.
• Use of booking platforms, CRM systems and digital planning tools such as HubSpot, Airtable, Notion or Google Workspace.
