Senior Lecturer – Business School (Various Departments)

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Senior Lecturer within its Business School. The position can be filled in any of the Business School departments, including Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Procurement, Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Successful candidates will join a technology‑oriented public university located in Tesano, Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in recognized academic journals.
• Engage in community service and outreach activities aligned with university goals.
• Contribute to faculty development, curriculum design, and academic governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Either previously appointed as Senior Lecturer at a recognised university, or at least four years of lecturing experience with a minimum of six publications in recognised journals.
• Three professional referees with contact details.

Required skills

• Strong academic research and publication record.
• Effective teaching and curriculum development abilities.
• Experience in supervising student projects and theses.
