Senior Lecturer – Faculty of Engineering (Various Departments)

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for a Senior Lecturer position within its Faculty of Engineering. The appointment can be made in any of the following departments: Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics and Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct and publish research in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Engage in community service and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
• Participate in curriculum design, assessment, and academic governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or applied science field.
• Either a current Senior Lecturer appointment at a recognized university with comparable promotion criteria, or a Lecturer with a minimum of four years teaching experience and at least six publications in recognized journals.
• Three referees’ names and addresses must be provided.
