Senior Lecturer

About the role

The University of Cape Coast invites applications for a Senior Lecturer position within the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development, School of Business. The role involves teaching, research, and curriculum development across areas such as Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Commercial Art, Publishing, Communication Design/Digital Entrepreneurship, International Business, and International Trade.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in the specified disciplines.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct high‑quality, peer‑reviewed research and publish findings.
• Develop and update curricula to reflect current industry and academic trends.
• Participate in departmental committees, accreditation activities, and community outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field of specialization.
• Minimum four (4) years of lecturing experience at a university or comparable institution.
• At least five (5) refereed publications in the candidate’s area of expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students effectively.
