Associate Professor – Entrepreneurship & Small Enterprise Development

About the role

The University of Cape Coast invites applications for an Associate Professor position within the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development, School of Business. The role focuses on teaching, research and leadership in entrepreneurship, innovation, international business and creative disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in entrepreneurship, international trade, digital entrepreneurship and related creative fields.
• Lead and supervise research projects, securing publications in refereed journals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic governance within the School of Business.
• Mentor junior faculty and collaborate with industry partners on enterprise development initiatives.

Required profile

• Academic qualifications meeting the university’s criteria for Senior Lecturer.
• Minimum four years of teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer at a university or comparable institution.
• At least seven refereed publications in the candidate’s area of specialization since the last senior appointment.

Required skills

• Expertise in entrepreneurship innovation, enterprise development and international business.
• Knowledge of digital entrepreneurship, graphic design, fine arts, multimedia, commercial art, publishing and communication design.
