About the role
The Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer will lead technical support for the STRIDES activity in Ghana, ensuring robust monitoring systems and data‑driven decision‑making. Reporting to the project team, the officer will design tools, track progress, and disseminate lessons learned.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update the STRIDES performance monitoring plan and related data collection tools.
- Oversee data collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting to donors and stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, success stories, and technical briefs.
- Provide technical guidance to project staff and partners, including capacity‑building activities.
- Lead program evaluations, monitor indicators, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with FHI 360’s standards, SOPs, and MEL guidance.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, preferably in health or infectious disease programs.
- Proven experience designing M&E frameworks, tools, and reporting systems.
- Strong analytical abilities and experience preparing technical reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and headquarters teams.
