Senior Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Senior Portfolio Manager will lead multi‑asset portfolio management for XTRM Group’s clients in Accra, Ghana. Working in a hybrid model, the role combines on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility to design, implement and monitor investment strategies that meet client objectives across African and global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with clients' financial goals.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators and industry developments.
• Manage diversified portfolios across various asset classes.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare data‑driven reports and presentations on portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with advisory, research and risk teams to refine portfolio construction.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
• Mentor junior team members and identify new investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related field.
• Professional designation such as CFA or CAIA is an advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities with quantitative analysis and risk assessment experience.
• Deep knowledge of capital markets, asset classes and valuation methods.
