Social Media Marketing Intern

About the role

The Social Media Marketing Intern will support daily social media activities for Circularize for Change, a mission‑driven organization focused on environmental advocacy. The role is hybrid, based in Ghana, and involves creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across platforms such as X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging posts, draft captions, and develop basic visual content for multiple social platforms.
• Monitor engagement metrics, respond to comments and messages professionally, and assist in basic digital marketing campaigns.
• Research environmental topics and trends to inform content strategy and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with team members on advocacy campaigns and communications materials.

Required profile

• Strong interest in sustainability and environmental advocacy.
• Effective written communication and professional online interaction skills.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work environment.
• Academic background or demonstrated interest in environmental studies, communications, marketing, or related fields.
