Social Media Marketing Intern

About the role

Zerosol Africa, a Ghanaian clean-mobility company building the ecosystem for electric vehicle adoption in West Africa, is looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Marketing Intern. The internship is on-site in Accra, where the intern works with the marketing team to grow the company's online presence and turn its audience into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, schedule and publish content across social media platforms
• Draft social media posts and design basic visual content
• Monitor comments and messages
• Compile performance metrics and reports
• Help with market research, campaign brainstorming and coordination of digital marketing activities aligned with the company's communication strategy

Required profile

• Strong interest in sustainability and clean energy solutions
• Foundational knowledge of marketing principles and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Clear written and verbal communication with attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, collaborate with diverse teams and manage time effectively
• Proactive, willing to take initiative and open to feedback
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is an advantage

Required skills

• Social media content creation adapted to different platforms and audiences
• Basic familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is beneficial
