Social Media Project Manager

About the role

CustEx is a crowdsourced demand platform that lets fans, voters and customers vote on what public figures and brands deliver, and it is active across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and other social channels. It is looking for a part-time, hybrid Social Media Project Manager based in Accra, combining on-site collaboration with work-from-home flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media campaigns and coordinate content calendars so posts and initiatives are delivered on time.
• Oversee project timelines, manage cross-functional communication and track campaign performance to support ongoing optimisation.
• Coordinate with content creators and designers, monitor social media engagement and identify ways to increase reach.
• Ensure brand consistency across channels and contribute to reporting on project progress.
• Help streamline processes for social media and digital projects.

Required profile

• Project coordination and oversight skills, including project management and expediting.
• Process acceleration and follow-up skills, including schedule management.
• Quality and compliance skills, including inspection experience reviewing deliverables against standards.
• Operational and movement-planning skills, including logistics management of timelines, resources and workflows.
• Experience in marketing, communications or a related field; prior social media or digital project management experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a part-time hybrid setting.
