Specialist, Culture & Capability

About the role

The Specialist, Culture & Capability will lead and project‑manage country‑level delivery of talent management, learning, culture transformation, inclusion, diversity, equity and people value proposition initiatives across AngloGold Ashanti’s mine sites and offices in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate talent management activities such as succession planning, talent reviews, development planning and maintain accurate talent data in OneHR.
• Support the global Learning & Capability strategy by planning, delivering and reporting on learning initiatives, programmes and evaluations.
• Partner with business units and global stakeholders to implement capability assessments, technical learning pathways and solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Drive the implementation of the Group culture vision, employee feedback mechanisms, action plans and culture capability building.
• Implement Inclusion, Diversity & Equity roadmaps, representation targets, inclusive hiring practices and employee resource groups.
• Align People Value Proposition initiatives, communications and campaigns at country level.

Required profile

• Relevant HR or business‑related qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• 8‑12 years of experience in HR, talent management, learning & development and culture change.
• Proven project‑management experience with detailed annual and long‑term action plans.
• Strong analytical, planning and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

• SuccessFactors (Talent Management, Development, Learning modules and reporting).
• SAP.
• MS Project.
• MS Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
