About the role
The Stock Control Officer will manage wholesale inventory for a leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana. This hands‑on position ensures that products are issued, stored, and reported accurately while preventing expiries and stock imbalances.
Key responsibilities
- Issue products according to invoices/delivery notes and apply FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.
- Cross‑check issued items against invoices before delivery.
- Monitor shelf stock to prevent product expiry and segregate expired items with proper labeling.
- Participate in weekly requisition of low‑stock items and prevent over‑stocking or stock‑outs.
- Track stock levels and ensure sufficient supply to meet customer demand.
- Liaise with the supervisor to keep computer stock records up‑to‑date.
- Conduct random stock checks and audits to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assist customers with product purchases and prepare regular stock reports.
Required profile
- HND in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar stock control or inventory role.
- Residence in Odorkor, Dzorwulu, Spintex or East Legon.
